About this event

We are passionate about living healthier and happier lives. Whether it is improving what we eat or drink, staying active, exercising our mind, giving up bad habits, or taking medicine.

All of us age. We are inviting public, private, and third sector challenge solvers to this seminar to explore how we can use data to transform our ageing experience. Whether you are an early-stage practitioner, care assistant, designer, or a senior executive, you are welcome to join us.

This seminar will feature thought-provoking speakers from our scientific research community on how we are working together to tackle some of the devilish challenges in ageing, such as:

• Frailty

• Mobility

• Access to Health & Social Care

• Retirement & later life

Our seminar will feature guest speakers from Innovate UK and our Health & Social Care network.

Over the next 10 years, Usher Institute and Bayes Centre, are exploring how we can use new cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, IoT, and Data to improve how we age for the benefit of our citizens, communities, and loved ones.

The purpose of this seminar is to better understand the challenges, needs, and opportunities from private, public, and third sectors who work tirelessly to improve healthy ageing outcomes.’

There will also be an opportunity to hear about funding of up to £2m per project to develop service led innovations through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Designed for Ageing competition.

The session will conclude with a panel debate to capture key areas from discussion.
